Thornton Lodge Motel - Waipukurau

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect for my explorations to the Urewera country and it was conveniently close to everything I needed. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to accommodate my late arrival and even allowing me back into the room on a Saturday morning when I realized I had forgotten something. The service was top-notch and really made me feel valued as a guest. The rooms were clean, large, and had all the amenities I could ask for, including a comfortable bed and a nice shower. This place truly exceeded my expectations.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I used free parking on site. I would definitely recommend it to those visiting Waipukurau. It is near the airport.

The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was a bit firmer than what I'm used to, but it didn't affect my overall experience. The motel's location was perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and nearby towns and attractions. The owners were friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and provide helpful local tips. I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place to others. it was a great home away from home.

Convenient Location, Comfortable Bed, Helpful Staff

During my recent business trip, I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the motel's location. The property was situated close to the highway, making it an ideal place for travellers on the go. the bed was incredibly comfortable, providing me with the restful sleep I needed to tackle the day ahead. The staff was also helpful, making my stay enjoyable.

My experience was not without a couple of drawbacks. I was allocated a family facility near the busy road, which made my stay a bit noisy.

Friendly hosts, clean rooms, comfortable beds, modern TV, well-equipped kitchen, surplus coffee and tea.

Nothing, everything was great.

Close to everything we needed for our trip, including the lake where we went paddling. The hotel facilities were great, including the pool outside our room. The staff were cute and friendly. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with a great shower.

The location was superb, only a short distance from the lake and Hawke's Bay. the rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with a fully-furnished kitchenette. the service was exceptional, with friendly hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the heat pump and modern TV were pleasant surprises.

The breakfast options were limited.

We enjoyed our romantic escape and appreciated the hot shower after a long day. the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. the key location fact was perfect for our needs. We liked that the pool was available and our kids loved it.

The amenities provided in the kitchen were insufficient for the price we paid. the shower pressure was low and it leaked all over the bathroom under the glass panes.
